- Added a status page at /status. It shows whether the API, the store and checkout are answering.

- The paths /api and /billing now lead to the API docs and the free key page. They used to show a 404.
- The free key page now says what happens: your key appears on the page at once, you get one key per address, and we send one note three days later with what it has used.

- A free API key for your email. It allows 100 pages a day, up to 50 pages a file, with no card and no account.
- The public API without a key is now 25 pages a day.
- Page views are now counted by our own first-party counter. It uses one first-party cookie, honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and sets nothing for visitors who opt out.
- The store behind keys and limits now fails closed. If it cannot answer, a request is refused and your allowance is not changed.
- The MCP tool now carries its title in the form that app directories read.

- Ad paths such as /pdf-to-markdown now lead to the converter instead of a 404.
- The price table now lists more services, with each list price and a link to its source.

- Added a remote MCP connector at /mcp with one tool, convert_pdf_url. It converts a public PDF link and uses the same page allowance as the API.
- The connector reports only anonymous counts of tool calls. It never records the link, the file or your key.
